Natural Turf Reinstatement and Refurbishment Works

Following the installation of a new aviation fuel pipeline from Fawley Refinery in Hampshire to Heathrow Airport, Fieldform were appointed to reinstate numerous sports pitches and public open spaces. Works have varied on each site but key tasks have included:

• Site investigation and creation of a site-specific scope of works
• Sub soil decompaction – ripping
• Aeration – linear and vertical
• Primary drainage installation – piped network
• Secondary drainage – sand slits
• Stone separation
• Stone burying
• Sand amelioration
• Grading
• Rolling
• Seeding
• Irrigation
• Maintenance – cut / collect, aeration, top dressing, over seeding and application of fertiliser

To carry out these activities we have utilised our fleet of company owned plant and machinery, this includes the deployment of tractors, laser guided trenchers and several different types of seeders. Over the last two years we have worked on a variety of sites including; football clubs, polo grounds, golf courses, recreation grounds, public open spaces and school sports pitches.
