Rooftop Multi Use Games Area – North Brent School

Following a series of design meetings and discussions with the client’s drainage consultants Fieldform were contracted by Vertec Roofing and Cladding to construct a synthetic turf multi-use games area on the rooftop of a new build school.

This included:

Installation of separation membrane
Installation of drainage crates to provide additional stability
Installation and grading of an aggregate regulation layer
Installation of drainage cells
Installation of a specialist, fire tested shock pad
Installation of TigerTurf Evo Pro sand dressed carpet
Infilling and line marking.

Works for this project started in early 2023 and despite challenging conditions including high winds and heavy rain were completed within eight weeks. Our client, the main contractor and end users are delighted with the finished facility, this has created a vital outdoor space for the pupils of north Brent School.
