Agricultural Drainage Installation
Following the installation of a new aviation fuel pipeline running from the South coast to Heathrow Airport Fieldform were appointed to install piped drainage systems across vast swaths of agricultural land throughout Hampshire.
To install the necessary amount of pipework we have mobilised a large gang of operatives supported by tractor driven chain trenchers. This has been an intensive project to work on due to limited timescales and the sheer amount of pipeline required post the installation of a major new fuel line to one of Europe’s largest airports.
Our works package has included:
- Trenching to depths of 1m
- Installation of 80mm & 160mm perforated drainage pipe
- Gravel backfilling
- Ditching works
- Installation of header walls
Once the project has finished we will have installed c. 15km of new drainage.
