Non-Turf Cricket Practice Facility

Following the successful construction of a non-turf facility at nearby St Mary Bourne CC, Fieldform were contacted by Overton Cricket Club to help with the design and construction of a new, two lane practice facility.

To comply with planning permission granted by Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council the new nets have been built on land on the edge of Overton Recreation Ground maximising space that was previously used for storage.

Design features of the new practice facility include:

• FFD dynamic sub base that has the ability to change playing characteristics depending on the prevailing weather
• Fully carpeted playing surface
• Full length shock pads
• 4m high galvanised steelwork
• FField Tunnel netting for each lane
• Concrete edges

Whilst on site we were approached by the Club to remove their existing two lane practice facility and reinstate the area.
