Facility Redevelopment & Upgrade

Following the submission of various design proposals and a prolonged delay caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, Fieldform were appointed by Belmont School in Surrey to transform some tired tennis courts into a modern sports facility suitable for a wide variety of sports.

The existing sports facility was built approximately twenty years ago, in recent years the macadam surface had suffered from tree root damage and pitting, this combined with compromised chain link fencing made the facility unsuitable for the number of pupils now studying at Belmont School. To overcome these issues Fieldform put forward a design that offered the following:

• Removal of tree roots within the playing surface
• Remediate the existing macadam surface
• Erection of of a heavy duty twin bar fence c/w rebound panels at ground level
• Installation of commercial grade timber kick boards to protect the fence against the impact of high speed hockey balls
• Installation of a rubber shock pad laid in-situ
• Installation of a TigerTurf Evo sand dressed playing surface carpet

This project has created a very valuable space for an expanding School. We are delighted to have worked with Belmont School in Surrey to develop a high quality sports facility.

Since constructing the new facility Belmont School have appointed Fieldform to carry out regular surface maintenance. Works will include, power brushing, jet washing and topping up sand infill.
